Le documentaire suit un groupe de médecins, d'infirmières et de patients qui se trouvent en première ligne au début de la pandémie de Covid-19. Parmi eux, le Docteur Nathalie Dougé et l'infirmière de l'unité de soins intensifs Kellie Wunsch, qui mettent leur propre vie en danger pour sauver celle des autres, et les patients de Covid Ahmed Ellis et Brussels Jabon, qui se battent pour survivre tout simplement.
